How to get quick confidence before games

If you’re not feeling confident, in a rut, going through a slump… you’re going to love this super easy way to boost your confidence.

If you’ve been following along, you know that I’m a believer in visualization. It’s such a powerful tool for athletes to create confidence.

When you visualize your mind is tricking your body into thinking you really did whatever you visualized.

You’re just seeing yourself succeeding and doing what you want to happen in your games, practice, school, wherever!

This super easy way to boost confidence is a form of visualization.

I’m calling it the Confidence Boosting Highlight Album - let me know if you have a better name!

Here’s what you need to try out 👇👇👇

1️⃣ What I want you to do is create a photo album in your phone or tablet (or parent’s phone) and name it something like Confident Highlights, Confidence Booster, Game Day Album… get creative!

2️⃣ Find videos, clips, photos of you C R U S H I N G it (aka moments you have gotten the hit, scored the goal, made the big stop, anytime you have felt successful).

3️⃣ Add those to your new album

4️⃣ Before game day (or practice) open this album up and look at the photos, watch the videos!

The reason I love this little tool is because every once in a while I’d go watch one of my Youtube videos of me hitting a grand slam my senior year and it just made me feel good, confident, powerful, like heckkk yes, I did that!!!

In college we watched a lot of film to help us improve, learn, and get better, but I really think that we need to also be watching ourselves when we do amazing things. When we feel good and confident!

I wish SO BAD I would have done this earlier. So DO IT!

Try it out and let me know how it goes!

ALSO, perfect timing, I have a really cool Athlete Photo Entry going on right now. You can send me photos of you fist pumping, celebrating, lovin’ on your teammates, focused, visualizing, and more to be featured in my social media!

📸 ENTER THE ATHLETE PHOTO ENTRY HERE! 📸

I can’t wait to see your photos and your new Confidence Boosting Highlight Albums!

Keep on keepin’ on,

💕Paige
